With passthrough mixed reality, your eyes never leave the real world: the space, your friends, the props you're holding. Isle adds digital reactions and creatures onto what's already there, turning the room into the game.
When you arrive, a team member helps fit your headset and walks you through the basics. It takes about 10 minutes. Then your quest begins. The Isle has been waiting for you.
You and your teammates step through a portal into the Isle — an otherworld layered onto the real room. Along the way, you'll meet characters, uncover tasks, and solve challenges together. Split up to cover more ground or stay side-by-side — but either way, you'll need help to go far.
The Isle reacts to what you do — shifting, opening, and responding in real time. The experience builds to a shared finale you'll experience (and remember) together.
You see the real room through the headset the whole time—so you stay oriented, you can always see your partner, and you won't be wandering blindly into walls.
Isle is built for people who've never worn a headset before. Our staff guides you through onboarding, and there's no time pressure during setup.
Because Isle uses passthrough mixed reality (not full VR), most players don't experience motion discomfort. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, you can remove your headset immediately.
Expect light movement—walking, reaching, and interacting with physical props. No running, climbing, or strenuous activity required.
